Introduction 

Hello Strata provides the online communications platform at hellostrata.com. 

Upon creating a user account for hellostrata.com you signify your acceptance of the privacy policy outlined in this document in order to sign in and use the website. 

In this policy:

  • Hello Strata Pty Ltd. is referred to as the company, we, our, or us;  

  • You as the user of Hello Strata is referred to as you and your; 

  • Your owners corporation, body corporate or strata company (terminology varies by Australian state or territory) is referred to as your strata plan;   

  • Other users on the platform in relation to your strata plan are referred to as the strata committee.  For the purposes of this policy, the strata committee includes any role a strata plan decides to invite to the platform including strata managers and building managers; 

  • The online communications platform at hellostrata.com is referred to as the website or service.

  • Account means a unique account created for you to access our service.

  • Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.

  • Country refers to: New South Wales, Australia.

  • Device means any device that can access the service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

  • Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

  • Service provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the company to facilitate the Service, to provide the service on behalf of the company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the company in analyzing how the Service is used.

Collecting and using your data 

We will collect information from you when you set up an account and submit content on the website.  By doing this, it is implied you are a legitimate representative of your strata plan’s strata committee.  We will only use the information you have supplied to: 

  • Identify you as a registered user in order to deliver the service for you and your strata committee;

  • Provide the best possible customer experience across multiple devices; 

  • Keep you informed about changes or improvements to our services;

  • Operate the functionalities of the website;

  • Notify you via email of communications arising from usage of the website;

  • Fulfil legal and regulatory obligations.

All personal information submitted to us is secured by the Google Firebase and the Google Cloud Platform, allowing us to leverage Google’s industry leading expertise in protecting your information.

  • Profile photo
